Ah, coffee. The smell, the taste. We grew up here in Winnipeg, and one of our favorite memories is waking up on cold winter mornings to see the icicles out the window and smell the coffee brewing in the kitchen.

Then there was summer, hanging out at Assiniboine Park, slurping iced coffee from big canteens.

You might say we’ve always had a special love for the humble dark elixir of coffee! That’s why we started Grind-n-Rise, a full-service local coffee shop featuring hand-roasted beans, delicious pastries, and plenty of warmth and fun. Stop in for a cup to go or linger the whole day at one of our cozy tables.
