Wavy Vibes
I’ve always loved creating wavy beach scenes. There’s just something about the movement of the water and the calm it brings that I can’t resist. When I’m doodling or simply relaxing, I often find myself sketching waves and flowers, especially hibiscus, my favorite. This piece combines pencil crayon and wax crayon, bringing together soft detail with bold, playful color, blending my love for the ocean and the beauty of nature.
It's Beachy
“It’s Beachy” is created entirely in crayon, a medium I truly enjoy using. There’s something about the way it blends that feels playful and brings out my inner child. The piece shows a beach and waves, with a lone surfer walking along the shore.
Since I was young, I’ve always dreamed of learning how to surf. Even though I’ve never had the chance, that dream continues to inspire me. My love for surf art started early, and I’m still inspired today by many talented artists who capture that same spirit of the ocean.
Surf's Up
“Surf’s Up” is another piece inspired by my love of surf art. I painted it during a fun paint night with my best friend Bridgette. We hadn’t seen each other in a long time, so we stayed up late, talking, laughing, and painting together. This piece will always remind me of that night and how art connects us in the best ways.
Flower
“Flower” is a crayon drawing I made while just relaxing. It’s one of those pieces where I let my mind wander and simply enjoyed the process of creating without overthinking.
Palm Tree
“Palm Tree” is a crayon drawing I made while relaxing and feeling in a “beachy” mood. I was at peace while working on it, and since I often find myself sketching beach scenes.
Sea Turtle
“Ocean Turtle” is a crayon drawing of a sea turtle gracefully swimming through the water. I really enjoyed using crayon for this one, I love the textures and I love how everything blends together in such a fun way, and it gave the turtle a sense of movement and life.
Medusa
This drawing “Medusa” began as a simple doodle while I was listening to an audio training, letting my pencil wander as I often do. What started as a casual sketch soon took on a life of its own, forming into the powerful and mysterious figure of Medusa. Later, I returned to it, adding depth and color with crayons, transforming it into something far beyond the original doodle—an image full of energy, intensity, and myth.
Behind the Scenes:
Rip My Heart Out
Rip My Heart Out” started as a raw, hand-drawn piece straight from my emotions. It’s messy, expressive, and totally unfiltered, the kind of drawing that just comes out when you’re feeling something deeply. Afterward, I decided to digitize it, giving it a little extra sparkle and polish while still keeping all the heart and energy of the original.
Behind the Scenes:
Cherries
This painting was created with acrylic paints during a paint night with my daughter, Aaliyah. We spent the evening just hanging out, chatting, and enjoying ourselves while letting the creativity flow. It was all about fun, laughter, and making something together.
Crying Girl
“Crying Girl” is the original version of my digital piece Love Hurts. On a day when my heart felt heavy, I grabbed my crayons and just let my feelings flow onto the paper. There’s something about the waxy texture and the way colors blend that makes expressing emotion feel almost like play. Later, I digitized the piece, keeping all that raw feeling while giving it a fresh, colorful twist.
Behind the Scenes:
Shaded Girl
“Shaded Girl” I was just having fun with crayons, experimenting with faces and shading.
Miss Mother
“Miss Mother” is my crayon drawing of Mother Earth, carrying baby Earth. This piece celebrates the beauty of our beautiful Earth, the wonders of nature, and the universal connection we all share. It reflects my spirituality, my journey as a mother, and my Virgo love for nurturing and harmony. Through this work, I honor life, growth, and the magic of the natural world.
Elephant
“Elephant” is a crayon drawing I made while experimenting with features and shapes. I was just relaxing, having fun, and letting my creativity flow freely.
